Carrick-on-Suir’s Edmund Rice Secondary School’s careers fair for its senior cycle students on March 14 featured 20 exhibition stands manned by representatives of a wide range of third level colleges, industry and businesses.
CAREER OPTIONS
The students had time to meet the exhibitors and discuss the different career options open to them which they all agreed was a excellent insight into what was involved in the various career sectors and the third level education, training and practice needed to achieve this.
Exhibitors included University of Limerick, SETU Waterford, MTU Cork, TUS Shannon, MIC Thurles, NUIG Galway, National Maritime College of Ireland, Teagasc Kildalton, Waterford College of Further Education, FETAC Carrick-on-Suir, Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, Irish Defence Forces, Nolan Construction Waterford, Weltec Engineering Waterford, Abbott, MSD Ballydine, Sanofi, Medite Smartply, Dawn Meats and Musgrave/Centra Ballylynch.
ADVICE
Edmund Rice Secondary School thanks all the representatives of colleges, businesses and industries that participated in the careers fair to give guidance and advice to the students.
