The people of Carrick-on-Suir and other Lingaun Valley communities are invited to the AGM of the tourism group that promotes the area in the Carraig Hotel in Carrick-on-Suir this Thursday, October 3 at 8pm.
The Lingaun Valley's 5,000 years of history within 25km will be discussed at the annual meeting of Lingaun Valley Tourism CLG. Plans for the future, the election of new board members and review of the group's annual report are also on the agenda.
The tourism group has invited citizens from Ahenny, Ballyneale, Ballypatrick, Carrick-on-Suir, Faugheen, Grangemockler, Killamery, Kilcash, Kilsheelan, Ninemilehouse, Owning, Piltown, Tullahought, Windgap and surrounding areas to attend.
“You participation is crucial in shaping the future of our historic valley,” said a Lingaun Valley Tourism spokesperson.
