The annual Clonea Rathgormack Active Retirement Christmas Party was attended by 110 people who enjoyed a delicious dinner, music and dancing at Rathgormack Community & Hiking Centre on Sunday, December 8.
The Christmas dinner was provided by Billy Murphy Catering. Dinners were also delivered to some local residents who are housebound.

Entertainment for the party was provided by local singer Ritchie Nugent, accompanied by Noel McCarthy and a group of traditional musicians assembled by Rose Fogarty.
Representatives from both Comeragh Rangers and Rathgormack Senior Football teams, who both recently won Waterford
Senior county championship titles, visited with their championship trophies.
The organising committee, comprising Rosemarie Cusack, Mary FitzPatrick,
Mary Greene, Bernadette Hahessy, Geraldine Hennebry, and Patricia Tobin, was ably assisted by volunteers who helped with setting up the hall, serving, cleaning and other tasks.
The Christmas party, which is free of charge for attendees, is partially funded by a raffle and generous donations.
The committee extends sincere gratitude to all who supported the event and to Rathgormack Community Centre for providing the venue.
