St Brigid's Cross
A St. Brigid's Cross Making interactive demonstration with writer and librarian Maura Barrett will take place at Carrick-on-Suir's Tudor Artisan Hub this Saturday, January 25 at 11am.
The demonstration takes place in the Hub's upstairs gallery.
The demonstration will show you how to make a traditional St. Brigid's Cross using freshly cut reeds that you can take home and enjoy or gift to a loved one.
Grab a coffee from a nearby coffee house and drop in and be part of a delightful hands-on experience, share stories in a creative and inviting space as we begin to celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
The demonstration costs €10 per person with all materials provided.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Carrick-on-Suir Lions Club.
Space is limited, so pre-booking is required.
To book, message the Tudor Artisan Hub's FB page, text 086 2560609, email tudorartisanhub@gmail.com or stop in to the Hub.
