Carrick-on-Suir GAA club wishes two injured camogie players a speedy recovery

Carrick Swan Junior A hurlers defeated Ballingarry by one point on Sunday evening.

The Junior A football team will play Killenaule in the South Football Championships in Grangemockler at 8 pm on Wednesday, May 28. The team will also play Cahir in Kilsheelan on Sunday, June 1 at 7pm.

The Junior B camogie team were defeated in the League final last Saturday.

Commiserations to the team and mentors. The squad now look forward to the championship in August.

All in the Swan Club wish Leah Sutton a speedy recovery from surgery on her broken hand and look forward to seeing her back in action in a couple of months.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery also go to Teighan Quinlan, who also sustained injuries in the game.

The Under 13 B footballers were beaten by Fr Sheehy's in the County Shield Semi-Final.

All juvenile teams now wait for the start of the hurling championships. The Under 17, Under 15, and Under 13 teams are playing challenge games in preparation for their championships.

Meanwhile, the Under 11 team went to St. Pat's for both hurling and football matches while

the Under 7 Cygnets travelled to Clonmel Óg on Saturday for a football blitz. It was a brilliant morning for all involved. The Club thanks all the coaches involved with both age groups.

Finally, all at Carrick Swan Club extend condolences to the Boland family of Marian Avenue, Carrick-on-Suir.
