Carrick-on-Suir Daffodil Day appeals for public support for annual collection

Carrick-on-Suir's Daffodil Day collection in aid of the Irish Cancer Society takes place this Friday, March 20.

The local Daffodil Day committee would appreciate the continued loyal support of the people of the town and district for this colleciton.

If you would like to volunteer your time or help in any way, please contact Marie at (087) 056 4440. Merchandise can be purchased at the shop on Main Street adjacent to the AIB Bank.

The public’s support for Daffodil Day funds expert cancer nurses, groundbreaking cancer researchers and a range of vital services to help people in their time of need.

Daffodil Day raised €6.68 million last year. In Tipperary, proceeds from the campaign funded 993 lifts to bring patients for treatment, 318 nights of night nursing care, 623 counselling sessions and 390 support line calls.
