Long standing Cashel business “Noel Fahy Footwear” has announced that they will be closing for good at the end of August.
In a video posted on social media, Noel Fahy said “It’s been almost 40 years in business and I think it’s just time to move on in life.
“It’s a big decision and I hope we’re doing the right thing but it’s been a great blast over the 40 years and great to have had so many customers and made so many friends over that period of time.
“The shoe trade has definitely changed in recent years and it’s time for us all to move on.
“I’d like to thank you, all our customers and friends for the support you’ve given us over the past almost 40 years.
“ I also want to say a special word of thanks to our dedicated staff from day one right through those years.”
Noel Fahy footwear will be having a retirement sale starting this coming Thursday 8 August right through until the end of the month depending on how stocks go.
Noel also reminded people that anyone who has gift vouchers for the shop to please come in and make use of them before the shop closes at the end of the month.
