Tipperary delegates in EU take part in 'Solutions for a Greener Future' event

The event theme was “Solutions for a Greener Future” and the Cashel delegates were part of an immersive conversation and cultural programme with young people from across the EU.

Cashel and Tipperary County Council are proud members of the European Charter of Rural Communities.

Well done to Sean Quinlan, Eoghan Murphy and Niall Hogan who represented Cashel and Ireland at the European Charter of Rural Communities meeting in Starý Poddvorov, Czech Republic.

A fantastic meeting and we are very grateful to their hosts and all the organisers.

The event theme was “Solutions for a Greener Future” and the Cashel delegates were part of an immersive conversation and cultural programme with young people from across the EU.

There is a delegation from Cashel also travelling to Troisvierges in Luxembourg this July where they will join groups from each European member state and the UK for the Annual Charter Meeting.

This meeting will allow the Cashel group to discuss current global issues, learn from their European counterparts and share ideas to tackle rural problems. The group will have the opportunity to join cultural tours and take part in a culinary event.
