A Public Meeting has been organised to take place in June, regarding issues relating to a cemetery in Tipperary.
The meeting regarding Cormac's Cemetery, Cashel has been organised for Wednesday 18 June at 7:30pm in Spafield Resource Centre, by Cashel Fianna Fáil.
Following numerous representations from members of the public on issues relating to Cormac's Cemetery, Cashel Fianna Fáil have decided to hold a meeting so that people will have the opportunity to voice and discuss their concerns.
The meeting will be chaired by Cashel Fianna Fáil Chairperson Paudie Taylor & Vice-Chairperson Collette Roche.

Representatives from Tipperary County Council, as well as local Councillors from the Cashel area, have been invited to attend and join in the discussion on the matters raised.
All are welcome and a good attendance is hoped for a lively but respectful discussion on the long-standing issues around Cormac's Cemetery.
This is a great opportunity for our community to discuss this vitally important and overlooked area of our community.

Local Fianna Fáil Chairperson and Community Activist Paudie Taylor said; "We are delighted to organise this public meeting to delve into the many issues important to people regarding Cormac's Cemetery. We hope to see real action taken in regards to issues discussed on the night, in conjunction with local representatives, regardless of political differences, for the betterment of the people of Cashel and the surrounding areas who have loved ones buried in Cormac's Cemetery."
Issues on the agenda to be discussed include: Parking & access, speed limit from roundabout to 50km sign, pedestrian crossing & traffic calming measures, footpaths & pathways around headstones, general maintenance, potential for columbarium & memorial garden, restriction on burial plots, anti-social behaviour.
