Tipperary for Choice has clarified that a Repeal the Eight banner was at no time placed on Tipperary's iconic Rock of Cashel.
The banner was held aloft for a short period for the purpose of taking a photograph before it was refolded and taken away by the group.
At no time did the group interfere or attempt to interfere with the OPW site.
