Blessing of the Lilies ceremony planned at Clonmel's Abbey House of Prayer

The ceremony will take place at the town's former Friary Church this Thursday, June 13

Large turnout for first Mass at Clonmel's reopened Friary Church

Members of the congregation with lilies they wished to get blessed at the first Mass celebrated in the former Friary Church following its reopening as the Abbey House of Prayer last year

A Blessing of the Lilies ceremony will take place at a Mass to mark the Feast of St Anthony in Clonmel's Abbey House of Prayer this Thursday, June 13 at 10am. 

The Mass and blessing ceremony will take place on the first anniversary of the re-opening of Clonmel's former Friary Church as the Abbey House of Prayer.  Members of the congregation are welcome to bring lily flowers with them to be blessed at the ceremony. 

A Mass will also be celebrated at the Abbey House of Prayer tomorrow (Wednesday, June 12) at 10am with Confessions afterwards.
