Clonmel Concert Band will give a recital at Old St Mary's Church in Clonmel on June 23
The Clonmel Concert Band returns to Old St Mary’s Church, Clonmel for a recital on Sunday, June 23 at 3pm.
The award winning 45 piece band, conducted by Danny Carroll, will welcome guitarist Liam O'Reilly as guest soloist. Liam will play some classical guitar favourites and join the band for the Grammy Award winning 1968 hit, Classical Gas by Mason Williams.
He will also be the soloist in Freddie Mercury’s iconic tune, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Songs and band classics will also feature. Admission is free and there'll be a collection taken, to help the work of the South Tipperary Arts Centre.
