New members are welcome to join Cumann na bhFiann Clonmel
Cumann na bhFiann Clonmel celebrated the end of the year with a Christmas party.
The club started in September and since then is going from strength to strength, with young people of all ages coming to the club.
The club runs every Wednesday in Clonmel for ages 10-18.
A broad range of activities are organised including sports, games, art, drama and music.
Not only do the young people have fun at the club, they also get the opportunity to use the Irish laguage they have in an enjoyable environment, while picking up new words and phrases as they go.
The club builds the young people’s confidence, both in their use of the language and in themselves, as they gain personal, social and creative skills through fun, active participation in a safe environment.
The club will recommence this Wednesday evening, January 15 and finish in April.
All new members are welcome.
