A Tipperary hospitality business has been honoured with a prestigious award for environmental excellence.
The Talbot Hotel in Clonmel have been awarded the Eco-Label Award for environmental excellence, marking the Tipperary hotel's dedication to the environment.
Led by Sustainability Manager Anthony Hewitt, alongside the dedicated team at the hotel, the Talbot Hotel Clonmel has implemented a comprehensive Environmental Action Plan.

This initiative focuses on energy conservation, waste reduction, and water management, aligning with both the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and EU Ecolabel criteria.
The Clonmel hotel’s actions also support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring its pledge to a greener, more sustainable future.
The Talbot's Sustainability Manager, Anthony Hewitt said that the award reflects the work of the hotel's entire team.
