Taking place on June 7 and 8 in the beautiful grounds of Raheen House in Clonmel, When Next We Meet is fast becoming one of Ireland’s most respected small music festivals.

Now in its fourth year, the event is a celebration of alternative and independent Irish music, featuring a lineup of homegrown talent, top-tier food and drink, and an artists-led spirit that resonates deeply with both locals and visitors.

This year, Bulmers steps in as official drinks sponsor, bringing not only its beloved cider but also its longstanding commitment to supporting Irish arts and culture. Festival co-director Kate Twohig welcomes the partnership with open arms.

“We’re so grateful to Bulmers for recognising our festival and joining us as drinks sponsors in the same year that they celebrate 90 years of cider production in Clonmel,” she says.

“Our values align so strongly - we’re both passionate about elevating Irish talent and creating unforgettable shared experiences.
We’re all looking forward to enjoying a crisp pint on what we hope will be a sunny summer weekend celebration in Raheen House.”

Bulmers’ support of Irish music is not new. The brand has previously backed artists who have graced the When Next We Meet stage, such as Cormac Looby and Smythy, two Clonmel singer-songwriters now making waves nationally and abroad. Through initiatives like its Secret Orchard gigs and highly creative ad campaigns, Bulmers also continues to spotlight the magic of its Clonmel orchards and the vibrant talent they inspire.

The iconic fermentation vats, a core symbol in Bulmers’ branding, stand as a testament to 90 years of care, innovation, and craftsmanship.

They not only represent the cider’s rich heritage but also underscore the brand’s ongoing role in shaping Clonmel’s identity - past, present, and future.

“As we mark Bulmers’ 90th year, we’re proud to celebrate our roots in Clonmel by supporting the When Next We Meet festival — a vibrant, homegrown event that shares our passion for bringing people together.

PARTNERSHIP
This partnership is about honouring our past while toasting to the future, with music, creativity, and community at the heart of it all." Siobhan Casey, Bulmers Senior Brand Manager

At the festival, Bulmers will host two outdoor bars, serving a full range of products to festival-goers enjoying performances from headline acts like Villagers, Pillow Queens, Morgana, and more. One of the most anticipated highlights is the Hidden Gems stage, a platform dedicated to showcasing local Clonmel talent, further reinforcing the town’s cultural heartbeat and Bulmers’ role in championing it.
For many, the partnership between Bulmers and When Next We Meet feels like a natural fit - two proud local institutions working together to spotlight the creativity and potential of Clonmel. While Bulmers reflects on its ninety year long legacy, it also continues to look forward, fueling community-led efforts that bring people together through music, art, and shared celebration.
