A popular diner in Tipperary was among one of the fifteen food businesses served with enforcement orders in May, according to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).
Shake Dog at the Showgrounds Shopping Centre in Clonmel was forced to close on May 14 after an inspection found that food stored at the premises was not kept at the correct temperature.
The inspector noted in their report that some chilled food including raw meat was stored at too high a temperature, meaning it was not safe to consume.

The report noted that the premises in Clonmel also had a history of non-compliance with regulations, in 2023 and in 2024.
Cleaning and disinfection was also noted as an area where non-compliance was found by the inspector, as well as no access for staff to safely clean their hands due to a hand basin being blocked.
The report noted that there was no "material for cleaning and or drying hands" at the basin.

The enforcement order was lifted on May 19 and the above issues have since been amended.
