The Tipperary Museum of Hidden History has been nominated for a National Lottery Good Causes Award
Since 1987, National Lottery players have raised over €6.5 Billion for Good Causes like these across every corner of Ireland.

The National Lottery’s Good Causes Awards celebrate and honour the inspirational work carried out by hundreds of volunteers, coaches, care givers and other individuals across Ireland, and the organisations they represent.
The work these people do is phenomenal and has a real and meaningful impact on the communities and causes they so selflessly support.
There will be 35 national finalists across the categories of: Health & Wellbeing, Sport, Heritage, Arts & Culture, Community, Youth and Irish Language.
The winners will be announced at a Gala awards dinner in October 2025.
Tipperary Museum of Hidden are one of five Heritage Finalists of the National Lottery Good Causes Award.

“It’s an honour to stand alongside so many inspiring organisations,” said Marie McMahon, Manager of the Tipperary Museum Service.
The museum is one of five finalists in the heritage category with other nominations from Cork, Dublin,Monaghan and Clare.
Tipperary Museum of Hidden History is a vibrant cultural centre preserving the county’s rich heritage through storytelling, education, and hands on engagement.

It’s award-winning programmes, including traditional craft skills workshops, foster intergenerational learning, intercultural exchange, and sustainability. By connecting people with Ireland’s past, through artefacts, outreach, and inclusive experiences, the museum empowers communities to value and protect their shared history.
