Ever impressive views of the Rock of Cashel are a welcome sight for Tipperary cyclists

A bright sunny day , albeit with a chilly wind, saw nine riders take on a fast, flat spin to Thurles and back on Sunday April 5.

Three separate roadside repairs were necessary on the outward journey, so the coffee stop was a welcome break. Then it was a lovely run home that was made even better by the ever-impressive views of the Rock of Cashel.  There was 80km done at 27km average and it was an excellent morning.

Last Sunday, April 12 was another lovely morning to be out on the bike - no diesel required! Just a local loop to keep the legs moving where we did 80km and had a welcome coffee stop midway.

The next spin is this Sunday at 9am from Eamon Gleeson Tyres in Cahir, and all welcome, especially newcomers.
