RIP: Tipperary deaths and funeral details, June 9

Thomas (Tom) Corbett

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Corbett, Upper Croan, Newcastle, Clonmel who passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff of St. Theresa’s Hospital, Clogheen.

 

Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Seán, sisters Mary and Nell (O’Brien). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Ann, sadly missed by his loving sons John and Gerard, his daughter-in-law Catherine, his cherished grandchildren Ellen, Faye and Dominic, his brothers Christy, Joe, Denis and Billy, his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, his nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family and many friends.

 

May He Rest In Peace

 

Reposing at his residence on Monday, 9th June from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Newcastle, arriving at 12 noon for Requiem Mass on Tuesday 10th June, followed by burial afterwards in Mollough New Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only. House private on Tuesday morning please.

Tommy Harvey

Tommy Harvey Loughtally, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary on Saturday 7th June 2025 peacefully after a short illness at Tipperary University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Mary, sister Helen.

Sadly missed by his loving sons John and Jim and their mother Helen, grandchildren Emma and Conor, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Tommy will be Reposing at O’ Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham St., Clonmel (E91PK19), on Tuesday (10th June), from 5pm to 7pm.

Aine O’Brien

On June 7th, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Medical 4, at South Tipperary General Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her brother Jack. Deeply regretted by her parents Pat and Breda, sister Marie, brother in-law Derek and her three adored nephews, Jack, Cillian and Mikey, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Aine Rest In Peace.

As per Aine's wishes there will be no official wake, however family, friends and neighbours are welcome to the house.

Funeral arriving to The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Burncourt on Tuesday, June 10th for requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Brenda Prout

Brenda Prout, Adamstown, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 8th of June 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of St. Brigid’s hospice Kildare.

 

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken mam Ann, dad Billy, son Ned, brothers Billy and Alan, sister-in-law Emma, aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

May Brenda’s gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore (e41 tr83) this Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment in the adjoining Sacred Heart Cemetery afterwards.

James Taylor

James (Jim) Taylor, Moynetemple, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, 7th of June 2025, peacefully in Clonmel University Hospital and previously in the wonderful care of St. Theresa’s Nursing Home, Thurles.

 

 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Sarah, sons James, John and David, daughters in law, brothers, sister, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May Jim’s gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore (e41 tr83) this Tuesday evening from 5 pm. Removal to St. Mary’s Church Moyne at 7 pm to arrive at 8 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Moyne afterwards.

Michael Wade

Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the Cardiac Care Unit, University Hospital, Limerick. Predeceased by his cherished daughter Rachel, parents Michael and Kitty, brothers Pat and John. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family; wife Lily (née Kelly), son Mark, daughters Natalie and Michelle, grandchildren Chloe, Nessa and Gráinne, daughter-in-law Orla, son-in-law Conor, sisters Anne (Stapleton), Mary (Cooke) and Catriona (Wade), brothers Benny and Noel, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Paddy, Seamus, Neil and Tom, sisters-in-law Marion, Teresa, Mary, Joan, Patsy, Noeleen, Bridget and Mary, cousins, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday 9th June, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Tuesday 10th June at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am.
