Maura Healy
(née Carroll)

Maura Healy (née Carroll) Church Avenue, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 22nd of October 2025, peacefully after a short illness very bravely borne, in the wonderful care of the Matron, Nurses and Staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Cross Patrick.

 

Deeply regretted by her daughter Marie, sons John and Michael, daughters in law Jennifer and Mary, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May Maura’s gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Sunday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart Templemore on Monday at 12 noon. Cremation service in Grey’s Funeral Home afterwards.

Jane (Joan) Hickey
(née Murphy)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane (Joan) Hickey (nee Murphy), formerly of St. Michael's Avenue, Tipperary Town, who passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2025, in Ruislip, England.

 

Predeceased by husband Tony and her beloved son Peter and by her own parents Paddy and Elizabeth Murphy.

 

Joan is survived by daughters Caroline and Michele, grandchildren Freddie, Sarah and Abigail, and by her great-grandsons Charlie and Cass.

 

Joan was a loving mother, a doting grandma and a truly kind sister to her many siblings - Peter, Billy, Nora, Elizabeth, Patsy, Carmel, Ray, Bernie, Beatrice and Fiona. Joan will be sadly missed by all in her extended family.

 

A Service and Funeral for Joan will take place in Ruislip, Hillingdon on November 12th at 11.45am in Roman Catholic Church of the Most Sacred Heart, 73 Pembroke Road, Ruislip HA4 8NN

 

Joan will also be remembered and Prayed for at 11.30am Mass on November 9th in St. Michael's Church, Tipperary Town.

John `Mackey` McKenna

John `Mackey` McKenna, Newtown, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of The Square, Borrisokane, died peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his family, on 23rd October 2025.

 

Fondly remembered by his wife Bernadette and children Laureen, John, Ruairí and Aoife, brother Tony, sister Philomena, cherished grandchildren Malachy, Cathal, Juliette, Páraic, Conn and Eoin Mackey, daughters-in-law Elaine and Claire, sons-in-law Owen and Jon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Predeceased by his parents Malachy and Agnes and his siblings Paddy, Joe, Mal, Mike, Ger, Marguerite, Frank, Paul, Tim, Vincent, Noel and John.

 

Reposing on Saturday 25th October at The Church of the Holy Spirit Youghalarra, (Newtown, Nenagh, E45 HD98), from 2pm until 4.30pm. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of St. Conlon's Home Nenagh and the Acute Coronary Care Unit, University Hospital Limerick for the excellent care shown to Mackey during his final illness.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Marie Kiely, Basket Hill, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick

On October 23rd 2025, peacefully, at St John's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her sisters Kathleen and Bridget, brothers John Joe, Michael and Tommy, nephews John and Michael.

 

Sadly missed by her nieces, nephew, cousins and their families, neighbours and friends.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of all the Staff at Croí Óir, Our Lady’s Hospital. Bridget (Biddy) (in her 97th year), beloved wife of the late Ned and mother of the late Richard. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Carmel, Josie, Breda, Mary, Teresa and Catherine, sons Martin, Eamon, George, John and Tom, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sisters Hannie, Teresa and Peggy, brother John, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Patricia O' Dwyer, née Cunniffe, The Willows, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Horseleap, Tuam, Co. Galway. Peacefully at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her father Jack. Deeply missed by her loving family, husband John, son Ronan, mother Bridie, brother Tom, sisters Mary and Fionnuala (Mason), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many great friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles (E41 CP59) on Saturday 25th October from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles (E41 A528) on Sunday 26th October at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Killinan Cemetery, Thurles.

Jerry O'Shea

The death has occurred of Jerry O Shea, late of Waterford Road, Carrick-beg, Carrick-on-Suir and formerly of Ballydehob Co.Cork, Jerry passed away on 23rd of October. Pre-deceased by his brother Michael and sisters Joan, Eileen and Mary Phil, Deeply regretted by his beloved Wife, Mary and Daughter Miriam, brother Joseph, sister Peg, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, Cian, Darragh and Caoimhe, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

 

May Jerry Rest In Peace

 

Jerry will be reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, New Street, Carrick-on-Suir on Sunday 26th of October from 5pm to 6pm. Jerry will be arriving at St Mollerans Church, Carrick-beg on Monday the 27th of October for requiem mass on arrival at 11am followed by burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery.
