All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy has led the tributes to Tipperary hurler Bonner Maher following the retirement of the Lorrha-Dorrha hurler.
"What a role model and his presence on the pitch and in the dressing room was just immense," the 2010 and 2019 All-Ireland winning manager said.
Former Tipperary hurler Micheal Webster said on the X platform that Bonner was a "real team player who inspired so many young players by showing that hard graft pays off" highlighting the effort the Tipperary hurler had made over many decades.
