The Carrick Swan GAA club’s Junior A footballers beat Ballingarry by 0-16 to 2-9. Well done, lads. They were due to play Clerihan on Saturday last but received a walkover.

In the Under 13 D Hurling Championship the club plays Clonmel Og on The Green on Thursday June 19 at 6.45 pm.

The club's Under 8 camogie girls travelled to Ballybacon for their first game of the year. The skills they showed were top class, with great performances from each player. Thanks to Ballybacon for hosting the game and to all parents and supporters for travelling. Huge thanks to the coaches also.

The Swan club's Cygnets were out in force last week. On Friday evening they travelled to Killenaule for a hurling blitz. The club is delighted to be able to enter four teams into this blitz. As a club, they take great pride in their Cygnets.

At the moment, the club has just over 70 Under 7s registered this year, with numbers growing every week. The future is bright at Carrick Swan.

Huge congratulations to Charlie Walsh, who lined out with the South Tipperary Under 14 footballers last weekend and won the Camida Cup.
