Local residents have 'real and genuine concerns' about speed on western side of Clonmel

Speed cushions should be considered for the road between the Glenoaks Roundabout and Clonmel Garden Centre, says Cllr Michael Murphy

Measures to slown down traffic between the Glenoaks Roundabout and Clonmel Garden Centre have been requested by Cllr Michael Murphy.

Speed cushions should be considered, and any decision should take into account the real and genuine concern of local residents, as well as the significant residential development ongoing at this location, he told a meeting of Clonmel Borough District.

The meeting heard that following investigations, District Engineer Roger Noonan would be in a better position to determine what if any remedial measures needed to be implemented to control speed there.
