Thurles Musical Society’s on-line booking office has just opened for their upcoming production of Made in Dagenham - the show will be staged in the Premier Hall from Tuesday, March 28 - Saturday, April 1.
There will of course be a physical booking office also for those who wish to secure their tickets in this manner, and that will be in place in Bookworm, Thurles on Saturday, March 18, from 11am - 2pm and from Thursday, March 23 - Saturday, March 25 at the same times.
Rehearsals have continued at pace over the last few weeks, and as we head into the last few weeks before the opening night, there is still much to be done. However, Director Oliver Hurley, Musical Director Mary Rose McNally and Dance Captain Siobhan King are very pleased with the progress to date with the cast and company having embraced all the challenges placed before them so far.
Set construction has also commenced in the Premier Hall under the watchful eye of Stage Manager Anthony Kirby, while Stage Director Rita Callanan and her team have also swung into action as they scour the locality for the all-important props to help bring the show alive on stage.
Thurles Musical Society has also opened an appeal for patrons, and anybody who wishes to donate a subscription can do so through Revolut and the @thurlesmusical23 account or by leaving an envelope into Hickey’s Pharmacy, Liberty Square, Thurles.
All patrons received before March 13 will be acknowledged in our programme.
With the cost of shows increasing all the time, we thank, most sincerely, all those who have donated so far.
