Car stolen in Tipperary Town found in Limerick City

Garda appeal for public's help in tracing the car thief

Gardaí investigate damaging of security shutter at Clonmel business premises

A car stolen from Tipperary Town late last night (Monday, May 8) was found a short time later in Limerick City. 

The blue Toyota was hotwired and taken from the Church Street area of Tipperary between 11pm and midnight on Monday.  

A Tipperary Garda Station spokesman said the car was located in Limerick City around 1.30am on Tuesday. The car will be returned to its owner after it has been technically examined.  

He appealed to anyone with information on this crime to contact Tipperary Garda Station at (062) 80670.
