DOM RYAN MEMORIAL TRACTOR RUN - TAKE A BOW EVERYONE
The Dom Ryan Memorial Tractor Run in aid of St Theresa’s Hospice, Clogheen proved to be a great day for the parish of Ballylooby/Duhill on Sunday last, May 7.
Dom Ryan passed away last August and staging this fundraising Tractor Run was Dom's dying wish to his brother Jerry!
The wheels, so to speak, for this fundraising event were put in motion along with Duhill Community Centre and together with the Ryan family the Tractor Run was organised, for The Hospice Suite at St Theresa's Hospital, in whose wonderful care Dom spent the final weeks of his life.
The event proved to be a hige success, and donations will be taken up till until May 31.
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, cakes, participated in the run itself. The countless volunteers without whom this day would have been impossible.
Take a bow everyone, you should be all proud of yourselves.
Congratulations to all the Ryan Family on carrying out Dom’s wish in support of the Hospice Suite in St Theresa’s Hospital, Clogheen.
