Call for filters in traffic lights at busy junction in Tipperary

The issue was raised at a meeting of Clonmel Borough District

The traffic lights at a busy road junction in Clonmel should be examined with a view to inserting two right hand turn filters, Cllr Siobhán Ambrose has stated.

She told a meeting of Clonmel Borough District that the lights at the Daybreak shop (formerly The Crescent) needed right hand turn filters in Dillon Street for motorists to turn onto King Street, and in King Street for motorists to turn onto Thomas Street.

A reply from District Administrator Carol Creighton stated that the District Engineer would examine this proposal and would revert to Cllr Ambrose with a response prior to the September meeting of the Borough District.
