Tipperary councillor considering holding a plebiscite on Uisce Éireann over its 'failures'
A Tipperary county councillor has warned Uisce Éireann that he is considering holding a plebiscite on it in the county due to its failure to answers a series of questions he put to them earlier this year.
Cllr Seamus Morris says that public representatives met Uisce Éireann last April at a workshop but he had been unable to get answers to queries at that time.
He subsequently sent on emails seeking clarification of his queries but, to date, has received no reply.
“I am considering holding a plebiscite in Tipperary to ask that water and wastewater services are given back to the Council and for Irish Water to be shut down,” he warned.
