Clonmel Lions Club to hold annual Blueway sponsored walk

Walk in scenic area of Tipperary will support two very worthy causes

The event on the Blueway will support C-SAW, Clonmel and Barnardos, Clonmel

Clonmel Lions Club will hold their annual Blueway sponsored walk on this Sunday September 17.

The walk will commence from the Gashouse Bridge, Clonmel, at 10.30am and finish in Kilsheelan. All are very welcome to participate. Donations can be made on the day and will be very gratefully accepted.

This event is aimed at all age groups and abilities, and the walk will be at a nice leisurely pace. On arrival in Kilsheelan teas and refreshments will be available and a lift back to Clonmel will be provided if required.

Each year Clonmel Lions Cub aims to support local charities as the recipients of the funds raised and this year it has chosen C-SAW, Clonmel and Barnardos, Clonmel, which are both very worthy causes.

It's hoped to see as many people as possible on the day and help the Lions Club to raise awareness and much-needed funds for these very worthy causes.

The club is very grateful for the support that it has enjoyed in its fifty years-plus serving the people of Clonmel and it looks forward to that continued support on the day and into the future.
