Tipperary Pumpkin Festival lights up this weekend with lantern making workshop

Burncourt’s Pumpkin Festival
Plenty of Creativity and Make & Do for all over the next few weeks in Burncourt.
October 7, 14 and 21: Lantern Making Workshops - 10am -12.30pm
The project will involve Tipperary artist Brigid Teehan (Beehouse Arts) leading three weekend lantern making workshops in the local community hall, aged 7 upwards and for grown-ups too. Paper and Willow will be the materials used.
These workshops are free thanks to Creative Ireland but must be booked as places are limited/ 0876967661. October 14 is fully booked, October 21 is booking fast, there are still places on October 7.
October 28: Lantern Parade - join in the Samhain Celebration as we parade through Burncourt, showcasing the lit-up Lanterns, accompanied by Carnival Drummers, Rhythm Riot.
October 21: Pumpkin Carving - Pine Nurseries, Places Limited, register with Shelley - 086 3183073
October 29: Halloween Street Festival - Music, Entertainment, Food Stalls, Tombola, Magic Show, Face Painting.
Scarecrow Registration: Saturday, October 14, - Burncourt Community Hall, 2-4pm, €10 Scarecrow to be in position by then. Judging will take place on October 15.
Pumpkin Registration: Sunday, October 22, 10am-12pm, €5, Pumpkins to be in position by then. Judging will take place on October 23.
