Three arrested in connection with theft of van from Tipperary Town

Three people have been arrested in connection with the theft of a van from Tipperary Town that was found in Limerick City in the early hours of this morning (Monday, October 16).

The blue Peugeot van was stolen from St Michael Street in Tipperary at 8.45pm yesterday Sunday, October 15.

It was found in the Ballinacurra Weston area of Limerick City at 2.30am this morning.

A Garda spokesman said two males and a female have been arrested in connection with the theft of the van.

He appealed to anyone in Tipperary who witnessed the theft of the van, saw suspicious activity in the St Michael's Street area on Sunday night or has any information in relation to the crime to contact Tipperary Garda Station at (062) 80670.
