House burgled and contents of church poor box stolen in county Tipperary village

A house in Donohill was burgled and cash was stolen from a poor box in the village’s church last week.

A television and quantity of cash were stolen by the burglars who broke into a house in Donohill village sometime between Monday, October 9 and last Friday, October 13 while the occupants were away.

Entry was gained to the residence via a rear window.

The poor box in Donohill’s Church of the Immaculate Conception was broken open and the cash inside stolen at 4.45pm on Tuesday, October 10.
