People have been encouraged to attend an information session organised by a new task force set up to tackle dereliction and vacancy in Clonmel’s town centre.

The information session will take place at the Talbot Hotel at 6.30pm on Thursday evening, November 16, and is the first major initiative of the Town Team.

Sinead Carr, Manager of Clonmel Borough District, has stated that Tipperary County Council will work collaboratively with the groups represented on the task force to see how together “they can turn the town around”.

District Mayor Richie Molloy described the meeting next month as “an ideal opportunity” for people to make their views known.
