Congratulations to all the 22nd Scouts (Clonmel) who were awarded their adventure skill badges and awards.

Wolf Patrol came out on top to be awarded Patrol of the Year.

A special mention goes to to Vicki Landers, 22nd Scouter, who was awarded her ten-year service award by Tipperary Scout County Commissioner Niamh Fenton.

Congratulations Vicki and thanks are extended to her for all her hard work and commitment to the 22nd Scouts.

The Clonmel Scouts look forward to volunteering with Vicki for the next ten years.

The annual scouting awards were also presented to scouts who showed outstanding leadership and scouting spirit.

Robert McLaughlin was presented with the Scout of the Year award, which represents his dedication, abilities and knowledge of scouting throughout the year.

Well done to all scouts.

Clonmel Scout group has a long history within the area, providing a non-formal form of education for the youth of the area.

Embracing nature and outdoors, along with teamwork and great friendships, scouting in Clonmel is as strong as it ever has been, with the group gaining a strong venture and rover scout group.

This year the group saw two of their rovers travel overseas to represent Ireland at the World Jamboree in South Korea and Kandersteg, Switzerland.

There are fantastic scouters in the group who volunteer their time and have committed to share life skills, help create lifelong memories, encourage future leaders and hopefully give scouts a chance to embrace the great outdoors.
