Jason Ryan will be among the performers in the Clonmel pantomime
Give an audience three men dressed up as women, a cast of theatre fanatics, an overall company which includes 90 children and what do you have? Cinderella.
The hilarious sparkling new pantomime, to which St Mary’s Choral Society, Clonmel are currently putting the final touches, promises to be the biggest and funniest pantomime in the kingdom this year.
Katy Judge, takes on the title role in the panto, while Noah Hayes makes his debut with the choral society playing the part of Prince Charming.
Jason Ryan and Cormac Maher join forces as the Ugly Step Sisters, with Kevin Twohig stepping into the shoes of the evil Stepmother.
Also making their debuts with St Mary’s Choral Society are Eimhin O’Meara who will play Kendini and Zach O’Halloran as The Baron.
Bouncing onto the stage in the role of Buttons will be Cole Flanagan.
Cole has appeared in productions with no less than three Tipperary musical societies this year, making St Mary’s his fourth.
Becca Laste returns to the stage of the White Memorial in the role of the Fairy Godmother. Becca has been a member of the society for many years taking part in shows such as West Side Story and our original production of Cinderella in 2015.
Éabha Morrissey and Millie O’Sullivan will join the cast of Cinderella as the friends of our heroine, playing Belle and Aurora respectively.
Cinderella is directed and choreographed by Nicole Butler and Emma Sunderland, with rehearsals reaching the final stages.
TICKETS
The show will run from November 27 to December 2 at 7:30pm nightly (with the exception of November 29).
There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday, December 2 at 2pm. Tickets are €15 with group discounts offered for the Monday and Tuesday performances. Tickets will go on general sale from Monday, November 13 at 10am from the society’s online box office: www.ticketsource.eu/
