The Preferred Transport Solution for the N24 Waterford to Cahir upgrade project will go on public display from next Tuesday, January 23 to February 9.
Tipperary County Council says information will be available at four in-person public displays as well as on the project website www.n24waterford2cahir.ie/
The purpose of this non-statutory public display is to inform the public of the Preferred Transport Solution that has been developed to solve the issues identified to date and deliver on the project objectives.
Potential solutions include alternative transport solutions such as bus, rail and active travel modes and different road based options.
These solutions were subject to an assessment of their potential impacts, and their relative success in achieving the project objectives to determine the preferred solution for the project.
The Preferred Transport Solution will be exhibited at in-person public displays at four venues across the study area on the below dates:
Cahir House Hotel, Cahir, Tuesday, 23 January, 2pm to 8pm
Talbot Hotel, Clonmel, Wednesday, 24 January, 2pm to 8pm
Mooncoin Community Hall, Thursday, 25 January, 2pm to 8pm
Carraig Hotel, Carrick-on-Suir, Friday, 26 January, 2pm to 8pm
Following the in-person displays, maps of the Preferred Transport Solution corridor will be available to view at Tipperary County Council Civic Offices (Emmet Street, Clonmel, E91 N512) and Kilkenny County Council Library, Belmont Road, Ferrybank (Ferrybank, via Waterford, X91 D211) from 29 January 2024 to 09 February 2024.
Project brochures will be available at all venues or you can request a brochure by contacting us on (056) 779 4380 during office hours, Monday to Friday or by emailing: N24waterford2cahir@kilkennycoco.ie
