ANNUAL TRACTOR RUN
Scoil Mhuire Kilvemnon held their annual tractor run on Easter Sunday. A great display of tractors, trucks, motorbikes and cars gathered in the gaa carpark before all vehicles headed off in convoy towards Drangan, Cloneen, Kilvemnon and back to Mullinahone.
Great credit to the parents’ association and all volunteers for a very well run event.
KICKHAM’S CAFÉ
The monthly Kickhams Café will open again this coming Friday, April 5.
The ladies will have delicious home bakes, tea and coffee on offer. Always a great morning where friends meet to have chat.
MULLINAHONE TIDY TOWNS
It’s that time of year again where the big spring clean kicks into action. Volunteers are badly needed to help occasionally around the village with spraying, weeding, strimming, painting etc.
Lots can be achieved when volunteers step up and help. It’s all for ‘The honour of the little village.’
MULLINAHONE 5K4DAFFODILDAY
As reported last week, Mullinahone came out in force to support the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day appeal. A whopping €6256.86 was raised by the community. This will go towards
• Providing free advice and information to cancer patients and their family
•Funding for life-saving cancer research
•Providing transport and financial support for patients receiving treatment
•Support for families during end of life care.
LOCAL LOTTO
There was no winner of last week’s jackpot.
The numbers drawn were 1, 2, 16, 27.
Maura O’ Sullivan was the lucky match 3 winner €150.
The jackpot is now €7,850 and tickets can be purchased in all local shops and from committee members.
