It’s in our nature Photographic Exhibition was a project undertaken by James Kiely from Templemore. James dedicated his Photographic skills to taking an array of wonderful photographs of nature over a 12-month period, showing all types of nature at different seasons of the year.
James Kiely put great work and effort into compiling the framed photos into a wonderful exhibition, which was hosted by the Source Arts Centre in Thurles.
The exhibition was officially launched by Noel McGrath county Tipperary Hurler who played his part in the project by donating a signed Tipperary Jersey to be raffled at the opening night of the exhibition.
James Kiely and Noel McGrath recently visited Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre to make a presentation of a cheque for over €6,000, which was the proceeds of the sale of all the Photos and the signed Jersey.
Suir Haven would like to extend a sincere thankyou to James and Kathleen Kiely and Noel McGrath for organising this project and for making such a generous donation to the valuable work of Suir Haven. Special thanks to all the local businesses thatmade generous donations to the project and to all the people who helped organise the exhibition, and to members of the public who supported this worthy cause.
