The Hollyford, Rearcross Kilcommon St Vincent de Paul Society are proposing to build ten social homes in Hollyford village.
Philip Ryan told the Tipperary Star they are asking people who qualify for social housing to apply to the council housing list for Hollyford village.
He said the group have built 19 homes since 1993 and they believe Hollyford is a “beautiful area” and a lovely place to live.
“It is a very good little village,” said Mr Ryan.
Mr Ryan said the village has all the services and amenities needed.
The site itself has access to a local authority sewage system and is in an area with very good broadband.
Mr Ryan said that numbers in the school are in decline, so it is very important that families come and live in Hollyford.
