Uisce Eireann completes repairs to burst watermain serving Tipperary Town

Uisce Éireann has issued a statement advising people that repairs have been complete to a burst watermain in Tipperary Town, which had resulted in outages for many customers and businesses in the area. 

Uisce Éireann’s Colin Cunningham thanked the community for their patience while the repairs were being carried out.

“This was a significant burst to a major watermain supplying the town of Tipperary.

"Dedicated water services crews completed the repairs as quickly and as efficiently as possible to minimise disruption and restore the water supply to homes and businesses.

"We understand the inconvenience of unplanned outage and hope that supply will be restored to all areas by 6pm this evening.”
