Tipperary County Council has issued a notice informing motorists of the decision to close the L4110 At XC164 Emly Public Road Level Crossing as a "matter of urgency" next Saturday, May 11 and next Sunday, May 12.
The closure is to facilitate rail track improvement works between Limerick Junction and Charleville as part of the Cork Line Rehabilitation Project.
The closure will operate from 5am on May 11 to midnight on May 12.
Diversions will be in place via the L-41109 to Ballywire Cross, via the R-515 Emly village to Knocklong Road and via the
R-513 Garryspillane to Knocklong Road, Co. Limerick.
