Tipperary/Clare Garda Division's Community Engagement van will be visiting communities in mid-Tipperary between May 24 and 31

A Garda Station on wheels will be visiting seven mid-Tipperary communities this week and next week with officers on duty offering the property marking service to local residents and also giving advice on personal and road safety.

Tipperary Central Community Policing Unit will be bringing the Garda Community Engagement van to Tipperary Town, Dundrum, Lattin, Ballinunty, Rahelty, Templetuohy and Borrisoleigh between this Friday, May 24 and Friday, May 31.

“We will be offering the property marking service in each community giving you the chance to have any valuable property marked with your Eircode,” said Garda Sgt. Ray Moloney.

“We would especially like to see high value items like trailers and lawnmowers.

“We will also use the opportunity to speak to you on all aspects of safety including personal, online and in particular, road safety.

“Come along to the venues during the times stated below and say hello.”
