John O'Heney is topping the early tallies for the Cashel-Tipperary LEA.
The Independent candidate is coming in with 2299 votes after 84% of the tallies have been counted.
The biggest shock comes from the Sinn Féin vote, with Tony Black looking likely to not retain his seat.
Annemarie Ryan Shiner is the pick of the Sinn Féin vote, on 654, with Black on 558, and Molly Browne, daughter of TD Martin Browne, on 144.
As it stands, the likely candidates to take the seats for the Cashel-Tipperary LEA are John O'Heney (IND), Declan Burgess (FG), Liam Browne (IND), Mary Hourigan (FG), and John Crosse (FG), Rodger Kennedy (FF) and Annemarie Ryan Shiner (SF).
