The new Mural of the Young Ireland Famine Rising 1848 has been completed by Neil O’Dwyer Mural in record time.
The main characters involved in the Rising are depicted on the Mural: William Smith O’Brien, John Blake Dillon, Terence
Bellew Mac Manus, John Kavanagh, James Stephens, John O’Mahony, Michael Doheny, Thomas Devin Reilly, David Power Conynygham, Patrick O’Donohue and Thomas Francis Meagher.
Additional information about this period in Irish history will also be available by accessing a QR code, which has yet to be finalised and put in place on the front of the mural.
