PICTURES: Tipperary club to represent county in Féile na nGael Finals for third year in a row

Four raffle winners also chosen to receive stellar prizes

The national Féile na nGael Finals are set to take place this Saturday at Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence and Boherlahan Dualla Camogie Club are to represent Tipperary in the Division 1 Finals for the third year in a row.

The team were recently presented with brand-new gear, with the support of numerous sponsors.

On social media, the club shared special thanks go to Conor Breen at Breens Farm Machinery, David O’Dwyer at Cooldine Construction LTD, Brian Horgan & Tony Lacey at B&T Sports, and Ann & Dermot Coffey at Dermot Coffey Mini Bus Hire.

They also thanked Paddy & Geraldine Graham at Paddy Graham Truck & Trailer Repairs & Servicing for sponsoring the team's lunch, along with Jos and Joanne Tobin, Corrie & Neville O’Connell, Dornan Engineering Ltd, Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd., Una O’Dwyer – The Butcher’s Daughter, Boherlahan Dualla GAA, and Morrissey’s SuperValu Cashel.

A fundraising raffle saw generous participation from the community. The winners were:

  • 1st Prize: Dinner for Two at Cashel Palace Hotel - Winner: Diarmuid Crosse
  • 2nd Prize: Signed Tipperary Camogie Jersey - Winner: Michael Maher
  • 3rd Prize: Gift Hamper from Arthur & Josie Fitzell - Winner: Rian Dennehy
  • 4th Prize: Voucher for Daverns Bar/Baileys Hotel Cashel - Winner: Sheila Morrissey

Acknowledgments also went to Lar Devane at Troy Marketing for sponsoring the raffle tickets and Seamus Hickey Painting & Decorating for sponsoring a meal for the team.

Tipperary Minor camogie player Sarah McLoughlin and Thomas Quirke, who brought along the Munster and All Ireland Cups, provided words of encouragement to the young athletes as they face their fixtures.
