On Sunday June 16, the Diocesan Mission ‘Light of Hope’ came to a conclusion with a variety of walks on the Pilgrim Paths at Mount Melleray Abbey.

The Mission was led by a group of young Missionaries from Canada, who shared their faith experiences throughout the Diocese during the week.

The Pilgrim walks took four different routes – the Cross, the Well, the Grotto and a Remembrance walk around the grounds of the Abbey.

Over 200 people gathered for prayer with the Monks at 2.15pm and from there, the four groups set off on their pilgrim journeys, led by Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan. It was a wonderful day of companionship and prayer, and the weather made it all the more special.
