Fine Gael councillor John Crosse is the new Cathaoirleach of Cashel-Tipperary-Cahir Municipal District council.
The Annacarty man was elected at a meeting in Cashel this afternoon at the Municipal District's first meeting since the formation of the new County Council.
Fianna Fáil councillor Roger Kennedy was announced as Leas Cathaoirleach of the district.
