Tipperary men complete tough tasks for childrens' food charity

Pictured above is Martin Bourke, who cycled 270km around North and Mid Tipperary, and John Egan, who walked 200 km from Thurles to Knock, arriving in Knock on August 15.

Mary’s Meals volunteers walked from eight locations around Ireland to raise funds and awareness of the plight of starving children in many locations throughout the world.

Their aim is very simple - €22 feeds one child in a place of education for one year, this being the road out of poverty.

100% of donations goes to Mary’s Meals Ireland and 96% of your donation reaches the front line.

Should you wish to donate please go to the official go fund me page and search for North Tipperary Mary’s Meals.
