Ballingarry councillor Imelda Goldsboro is Fianna Fáil's candidate to contest the upcoming General Election in Tipperary South.

Cllr Goldsboro was selected as the party's candidate to run in the reformed three-seat constituency at the Fianna Fáil Tipperary South Candidate Selection Convention in Brú Ború in Cashel on Monday night.

She topped the poll in Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District in the Tipperary County Council election in June.

This will be her second General Election contest. She was one of three Fianna Fáil candidates to contest the February 2020 election in the five-seater Tipperary constituency.
