Local Tipperary town to hold card game in aid of building of African church

The parish that Fr Francis Mudungwe left in the Mutare Diocese of Zimbabwe, is currently in the process of building a new church in one of their out-missions.

This is a huge project for these people who have very little due to effects of climate change and a poor economy.

To support their project Templemore Community Whist have kindly offered the proceeds of next Sunday night’s game, September 29, towards the building of the church.

Over the coming months it is hoped that the parish along with other local organisations, will do their part to support this very worthy cause as an appreciation to Fr Francis who has come from there to minister in Templemore.
